Financial Policy

We make every effort to keep the cost of your visits reasonable and strive for all of our patients to to able to comfortably afford dental care.  We proudly offer financial policies so that our patients have the opportunity to decide the payment option(s) that best suit their needs.
We also have flexible payment plans available for those who qualify.  Fees may be paid by cash, check or credit card.

Our office understands the value of insurance benefits to our patients and will gladly work with you to get the maximum benefit available to you. We will accept assignment of benefits. This means that you must sign the portion of your insurance form that “assigns” payments to our office. Most dental plans do not cover 100% of the cost of your treatment. Because of this and the extreme delay in receiving payment from the insurance company, you will be asked to pay your deductible and your portion of your charges the day that service is rendered. We will estimate as closely as possible your coverage, but until we actually receive the payment from the insurance company, it is just an estimate. We will assist you in dealing with your insurance company, but the ultimate responsibility lies with you. After 45 days the balance will be due in full from you. Our estimates are subject to final approval by your insurance company and could therefore change the amount due to our office.

Payment Options

  1. Pre-payment of the treatment in full. Our office offers a 5% discount to those patients willing to pay for treatment in full advance of treatment, if the treatment is $500 or greater or paid for in cash or check. This requires that you pay the total amount even if the estimated insurance portion and be willing to accept your own benefits from insurance.
  2. Credit Cards. Our office accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
  3. Outside Billing. Upon qualifying you will be extended a line of credit for treatment cost by an outside billing company. This is available for those patients that need their payments over a period of time. Payment will be made directly to the billing company. The qualification process is simply, and can usually be completed in 20 to 30 minutes. For further information on this option please ask our financial coordinator.
  4. Senior Citizens (age 62 or older) Discount of 5%. As a courtesy to anyone 62 years or older we will gladly discount your fee by 5% if services are paid in full at the time of your visit.
  5. Insurance. Our policy is to collect the portion of the charges from the patient/parent that the insurance company is not expected to pay at the time of treatment. As a courtesy to our patients we will then expect payment directly from the insurance company for the remainder of the cost, reimbursing you if there is an overpayment or sending a statement if there remains a balance due.

Please be aware that although we file your insurance claims at no charge to you, and do all we can to help you receive the maximum benefits you are entitled to, our contract for services and payment is with you, not the insurance company. You are responsible for whatever your insurance company does not pay.
